Standard Chartered Bank Empty Standard Chartered Bank

I hate these guys. You see them all the time at these aggressive recruitment drives but they can never deliver the service.

I applied for the credit line on the 1st week or Dec. I called up 1 week later only to find that my application had not been submitted yet. I threatened to withdraw my application and it was submitted within 24 hours.

I've called every week since then and it's always 'We will get back to you within the week' - that was 3 weeks ago... and I'm still waiting.

I've expected my application to meet with some problems, but do at least let me know if it has been rejected. Then at least I can make alternative arrangements don't you all think?

Interestingly... I did have a few bad experiences with SCB too.

Let's see what the other members have to say.

Me too.

I once spoke to this really cute sales person who was selling me credit cards.

I told her I wouldn't apply for a SCB card because service was horrible, to which her response was 'Yeah, I know.. but can you please help me anyway?' Shocked

Quick question... Is your nick an indication of your mood today... or is this a regular trend? Haha

Also realised that SCB lines are always busy.
